What Is CBD Oil?

Cannabidiol or CBD is the name of two different chemical compositions that are the active ingredient of marijuana and the delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol, which it resembles most closely. Cannabidiol has been around since at least 1940. It is also one of the handful of identified natural compounds in the human body, the others being THC and Cannabidiol-2. It belongs to the same family of chemical compounds as THC and has similar molecular structures. This means that it can act like this and produce the same results.

Cannabidiol, like other Cannabidoids, can be found in two primary natural products among consumers today; these are in marijuana and in cannabis extracts. These two plants contain the Cannabidiol while CBDA is the primary one in marijuana and THC is the one in the cannabis extracts. Since they are all derived from the same plant and are therefore related in terms of structure, we will refer to them as “CBD oils”.

While we have mentioned that THC and Cannabidiol-2 are the principal components of this oil, the same cannot be said about CBD oil. The reason for this is that it is believed that the cannabidiol and other the-rich products of cannabis oils may act differently on the body compared to THC and other cannabinoids. The main concern is with regard to the possible development of certain side effects, which may vary based on individual. For example, people who suffer from schizophrenia or have been diagnosed with psychotic disorders may find that CBD can help relieve their symptoms. At the same time, those who suffer from depression, lack of appetite or nausea may find that THC is more effective in alleviating these symptoms.

To this end, we have conducted some experiments using CBD and THC on rats and mice and have found that CBD produces a more robust and long-term effect upon the animals than did THC. These results have led to an increase in demand for this oil among consumers. CBD is less addictive than THC and is considered a more natural medicine for those who wish to treat their ailments without the concern of side effects. In addition, studies have shown that CBD works in synergy with other ingredients in nature to produce complete healing within hours of consumption. Many users have found that CBD is very helpful in relieving the pain associated with various types of cancer.

There have been many debates among consumers regarding the safety of CBD oil. It is important to note that CBD is completely legal in Canada (other than the two specific extracts mentioned above) and has been used for many years by traditional healers. It is also important to point out that the United States government has not banned the use of CBD oil nor has it resulted in the banning of any other natural substance. It would appear from this that the debate surrounding what is CBD oil and what is not should simply remain dormant until further evidence supporting the medicinal benefits of this plant is revealed. For now, it is safe to assume that CBD is safe for most people and that it may be the answer to the ongoing seizures and death that continue to be seen in major cities across the United States.

CBD is derived from hemp and contains many of the same active ingredients that are found in marijuana, such as THC. However, unlike marijuana, which has no negative side effects, CBD is actually considered safer for adults than the illegal drug. As more Americans look towards alternative therapies and less towards the medical industrial complex, CBD oil and cannabidiol products are making their way to the forefront of alternative medicine.
